Div - 16 (2017-18 School Year)
This afternoon our grade 6/7 students competed in the annual Rotary Speech Competition. All of our students have been preparing speeches on any of the three topics chosen by Rotary this year, but only 9 were chosen to compete in today's competition. It was extremely close, but congratulations to Alex Middleton, who will be representing Aberdeen at the Zone Competition later this month.
Agenda: Math: Hine (gr.6) - Tangram puzzles (due tomorrow) Mr. P - Math Tests signed Ms. C - p.172-173 Additional Items: -BAND tomorrow starts at 8:15 (please be there on time with your instruments ready to go at 8:15 sharp!) -Sun Peaks - Ski permission forms and $ into office ASAP. The due date on permission forms is tomorrow (Feb 16th). -Class Speeches: (Schedule)
-French: Presentations tomorrow! -Olympic Srapbook Assignment: Please watch / read about / document any interesting news or stories from the Olympics and record it in your scrapbooks. This includes following the results of your favourite country, athlete, or sporting events, etc. Scrapbooks can also include activities we do in class as well as articles, pictures from the internet and/or newspapers.
